Titanium Super Coat
Elegant Finish and High Strength Floor Coating
Titanium Super Coat is a 2-part (Liquid Polymer and blended Cementous powder) pre-packed system. These 2 parts should be mixed together to gain a paste. This paste can be applied by using a trowel. This layer is very smooth and slurry with excellent bonding to most surfaces. The product is based on selected modified blended cement which does not crack on the surface. There are 12 basic colors in the Titanium Super Coat color range.
Technical Instructions & Methods
Preparation and Mixing
Add 2 Ltr titanium super coat polymer for 5kg titanium super coat powder to prepare the titanium super coat mixer. Put 2 Ltr titanium super coat polymer into pail first and then titanium super coat powder should be mixed with titanium super coat polymer. Mechanical mixing is necessary for it (A slow speed 400rpm heavy duty electric drill with a wing type recommended). Mixed quantity should be applied within 20 minutes. To prevent variations in the color of the coating surface, in the final coating the mixing ratio should be the same and it is best to apply coating at once.
Application Method
After applying the first coat, it is recommended to wait a minimum of 2 hours before applying the second coat. After another 2 hours proceed to sand the surface with 100-120 sandpaper, then fill all rough places including holes. Once the surface is dry, prepare a third layer with a higher polymer liquid percentage and apply as a finishing touch. Once the surface is dry, sand the surface with 320-400 gauge sandpaper.
Sanding and High-Gloss Polishing
After the first and second application, sand by gauge no 100 - 120 sandpaper and after the third application, sand by gauge no 320 – 400 sandpaper. Again, sand by gauge no 800 sandpaper for a shiny finish on the surface. After sanding, surface must be clean and dust free. Then apply 2 coats of titanium top coat (Mix with water in 1 : 1/4 ratio). Allow to dry about 5 hours, sand with gauge no 1000 sandpaper & dust free. Then apply wax & polish the area using a polisher machine for a smooth and mirror-gloss surface.
Recommended Areas
Can be applied on new plaster wall, floor and all masonry areas and can also be used on bathroom walls. Also suitable for ceiling sheet and ceiling gypsum boards.
Yield & Coverage
Area of 100-120 sq.ft will be covered with a 28kg pack for a 2-coat application (dependent on substrate condition).
Safety & Handling Measures
- Wearing a pair of gloves is necessary.
- Wear a mask when you are sanding.
- Wash thoroughly if contact occurs on skin.
- Contact a doctor immediately when contact occurs with eyes.
- Keep away from children.
